Wedding photographs that I love and why ?
This particular image was shot at the start of the ceremony back in mid 2014, and is one of my all-time favourite images. I really love this image for it's simplicity, storytelling & the groom's raw emotion of the imminent ceremony to come.
I remember just before I took the shot... I was concentrating on the bide and her father entering the room, then out the corner of my eye I noticed the best-man was looking at the groom, so I quickly recomposed the frame.
Technically it’s a bit noisy as it was shot at 6400iso. However, the last thing I would ever do is blast this delicate moment with flash and ruin the moment.
Emotion….. is one of the main components I spend a wedding day looking for. It is present at every wedding, you just have to look for it. And it’s my job as a documentary wedding photographer to capture these moments.
