It was a sunny Saturday morning as I drove to Hatfield - South Yorkshire to spend the day photographing Charlotte & Leigh's wedding. As a documentary wedding photographer, my job is to capture the real events as they unfold without any intrusion from myself. As always, I like to start with the bridal prep, in this case at the house where Charlotte and her bridesmaids were having their hair and makeup done, while little Millie was running around oblivious to the events about to unfold.
I arrived at St Lawrence's church in Hatfield where Leigh was chilling with his groomsmen and chatting calmly with family & friends even though Charlotte did arrive (fashionably) a few minutes late!!!
Then on to Hemswell Court for the reception, not before using the vintage church loo, did anyone else notice it? (see below). I've covered countless weddings at Hemswell Court, so I know the venue & staff well, the grounds and reception room looked amazing as always, as everybody enjoyed the weather all day long.
As I left in the evening, the celebrations looked to be continuing long into the night - please enjoy...
